The actress played Daphne on a daily basis in The HBO drama True Blood's second season. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her first job was as teacher in Maury County where she taught Kindergarten and first graders Reading. In 1998, she got married to her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones and relocated in Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first began teaching fourth grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she was a teacher while obtaining her Masters of Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She quit her classroom in 2000 after the couple welcomed their baby boy Baylor. Ashley's most recent 15-year mission has been on encouraging children to grow within her church and in the local community. She also serves in various roles. Ashley has been a leader for a long time of the Preschool Ministry as well as the Student Ministry at Thompson Station Church. Ashley's children attended homeschool for the 3 years they were at home. Ashley taught History at the home school tutorial during their years of at-home schooling. God said to her that while she was enjoying doing her homeschool and spending time in the presence of children, her family had to go back to school full time. Brent and Ashley are the parents of five kids. Silas and Eliza as well as Cruz all go to GCA. Baylor a GCA grad plays baseball for the University of Tennessee Martin. Callan is also an GCA graduate and is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. It is a busy family who enjoys fishing, sports and hunting.
